Thankful for the days the family is together and does things together. There are days when we are all home, but in different rooms doing our own thing. There is not many days we go out and just do something. My husband is now off on the weekends. I am off this weekend. I found something for us to do. We stopped by a chili cook-off. We were all getting along which is great. Soon our son will be doing is own thing. He is 14 right now. Growing up way too fast. As there will days he will not want to go with us or we can't make him go either.
Your thankful today is much like mine -- knowing that they won't want to hang with us long certainly puts some perspective on the moments we have!
